Bessie Elizabeth (Dishman) Kilpatrick

   Bessie Elizabeth (Dishman) Kilpatrick, age 92 of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on December 21, 2023, from her home in Iredell County.

   Bessie was born on July 4, 1931, in Iredell County, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late Bessie (Chapman) Kilpatrick.  In addition to her mother, Bessie was preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Kilpatrick, Jr., her son James Troy Kilpatrick who passed after a short illness in 2015, and two sisters.

   In life, Bessie graduated from Statesville High School.  She chose a life of caring for her children and husband.  She loved her family and wanted nothing more than taking care of them and watching them thrive.  Bessie was a former member of Fourth Creek Presbyterian Church.

   Bessie leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons William Kilpatrick, III, of Statesville and Terry Wayne Kilpatrick of Columbia, SC, and a grandson Brian Kilpatrick of Statesville.

   In honoring the wishes of Bessie, the family will not be holding any funeral services.
